Top 10 - The Travel Destinations That I’ll Never Forget

Let’s be real: 2020 is the year to dream of travel, not to travel (besides domestically or close by). Long international trips seem very far away and a little (or bigger) travel blues might be on the way. Still, we shouldn’t let ourselves be kept from dreaming of travelling, planning future trips and thinking back about great places we’ve visited so far. And that’s exactly what I am going to do today: tell you all about my all-time favourite travel destinations so far. Some might be ‘mainstream’ or obvious; others are more special. So let’s dive right into dreaming away.

Nevada: Las Vegas, Valley of Fire, Nelson & More

There are few places in the world you immediately recognize when seeing certain pictures. Las Vegas is definitely one of them. I mean, are there other cities with a sign this big and this famous? So, as you understood by now, today it is all about Las Vegas and its surroundings. I know Vegas is not that high on places people want to visit, so I’ll try to show you why I truly enjoyed my stay and that there’s way more to Sin City than just gambling and casinos.

Yep, that’s right, San Francisco. This city is hyped up like no other on the west coast, so be prepared for our adventures there and my – personal – opinion on the town.

Renting A Car In The United States As A European

Welcome back to the blog after a little “summer break”. It lasted a bit longer than I initially expected it to, but with all the travels, there was not as much time left as I anticipated. But now, summer is (nearly) over, and I’m ready to start again. The list of blog posts in the making is long, as is the list of things I experienced this summer, so I decided to use my time waiting for my flight to depart from Seoul, South Korea to bring me home and start right away. The biggest tip of this summer – and my life so far! – was undoubtedly the road trip through Western America. I made lots of experiences, and I value them all, good and bad. It was the first time I ever rented a car abroad (despite one time in Italy, but that was only for a few hours, so it does not really count) and there are a few things I noticed in the US.

Hawaii - One Month in Paradise

On August 28, 2017, at 6 o’clock in the morning, I boarded a plane that would take me from Innsbruck to Frankfurt. This was just the beginning of a 27-hour journey to my final destination, Honolulu, the capital of Hawaii, on the island of Oahu. I had never been so far away from home before, and also, never this long. I went to Hawaii for four whole weeks. For most of this time, I stayed in Honolulu.

I was lucky enough to experience so many amazing things during these four weeks and I want to tell you guys all about it. So, be ready for a little four-part-series on the blog, where I will get into detail about all of my adventures on Oahu and Kauai.

In today’s post, I am going to focus on Honolulu and the area close by.
