In this blog post, I'll show you how quickly you can get to the slopes from the city centre of Innsbruck. This is the 2020 updated version of an older blog post about the Patscherkofelbahnen, one of the ski resorts that is closest to the capital of Tyrol, to show you that outdoor fun is never far away here.
Read MoreWelcome back to the blog. As I told you last time, I’m not working chronologically on all the blog posts I need to catch up on, but this week I’ll tell you about one more weekend trip I made this winter. I’m talking about my trip to Dublin with a good friend, just before Christmas.
Read MoreWelcome back to the blog, and I hope you all started very good into this new year. A new year means changes, and just in time, I was able to finish the series about the road trip through the US. If you were wondering what would follow after this series, don’t worry, there are lots of travels I haven’t written about yet. This blog posts won’t be published in any specific order, and therefore I’ll start with one of my favourite travels of the year: Copenhagen.
Read MoreThere are various great ski resorts in Tyrol, and one of them is located just between the city of Innsbruck and the Italian border. As it is often overlooked, I’d say: grab your skis, snowboards, or whatever you use to enjoy the beautiful mountains and let’s start with all the fun in the white powder.
Read MoreWelcome back to the blog! I hope you all had fun during Christmas, and it’s great to have you back here. I hope you are ready for the final blog post about my big road trip through the west of the US. Even writing those words feels weird, but all good things come to an end. This last blog post will be all about my favourite US city: Seattle.
Read MoreHappy Friday everybody and welcome back to the blog! Last week, I told you everything about the places I visited in Utah, and slowly the USA road trip series is coming to an end. Read MoreWelcome back to the blog and welcome to a new blog post. Last week I told you all about Las Vegas, and I was talking a lot about all the trips you can make from Vegas. Some of these trips were to locations in Arizona, that’s why this blog post is all about them, and everything else I saw when I started exploring this US state. After leaving Vegas, I was travelling alone.
Read MoreThere are few places in the world you immediately recognize when seeing certain pictures. Las Vegas is definitely one of them. I mean, are there other cities with a sign this big and this famous? So, as you understood by now, today it is all about Las Vegas and its surroundings. I know Vegas is not that high on places people want to visit, so I’ll try to show you why I truly enjoyed my stay and that there’s way more to Sin City than just gambling and casinos.
Read MoreLast week, I was talking to you about Los Angeles, and this week I’m taking you from California to Nevada, or better said, to the Death Valley National Park which is partially located in California, partly in Nevada. We are now at the beginning of week 3 of the 5-week long road trip, so let’s get right into this one before heading to Las Vegas in the next blog post.
Read MoreWelcome back on the blog, and I hope you are ready for a new blog post. The last weeks I was already talking a lot about California and famous places in this US state, this week, I focus on the most famous city in California, maybe even the most famous one in the United States: Los Angeles. LA and Hollywood are dream destinations for lots of people, but I am not one of them, and so I’ll share with you not only the places I visited but also my personal opinion.
Read MoreIn the last blog post, I was talking to you about San Francisco, so now it’s time to tell you everything about the following stop on the road trip: Yosemite National Park. While another blog post about all the key facts of visiting several national parks will follow later on, today, I’ll focus on the best spots in this Californian national park.

Yep, that’s right, San Francisco. This city is hyped up like no other on the west coast, so be prepared for our adventures there and my – personal – opinion on the town.

Read MoreWelcome back to the blog after a little “summer break”. It lasted a bit longer than I initially expected it to, but with all the travels, there was not as much time left as I anticipated. But now, summer is (nearly) over, and I’m ready to start again. The list of blog posts in the making is long, as is the list of things I experienced this summer, so I decided to use my time waiting for my flight to depart from Seoul, South Korea to bring me home and start right away. The biggest tip of this summer – and my life so far! – was undoubtedly the road trip through Western America. I made lots of experiences, and I value them all, good and bad. It was the first time I ever rented a car abroad (despite one time in Italy, but that was only for a few hours, so it does not really count) and there are a few things I noticed in the US.
Read MoreIt’s Thursday, so welcome back on the blog and to another week with another blog post waiting for you. If you are following my Instagram or kept track of the previous blog posts you know I’m currently in the US and have just started my road trip – well, I hope I have, as I am writing this and some of the following posts in advance. I was well aware that during this trip I won’t have too much time to write, so I prepared as much as I could beforehand. This week I am going to tell you all about the trip I made about a month ago with my best friend: Cyprus.
